As part of the international industrial forum INNOPROM, the exclusive INNOPROM Golf Challenge is held annually, bringing together top executives and corporate leaders. In 2025, the organizers set the goal of going beyond the traditional format — to surprise the guests and immerse them in a unique conceptual experience that united the cultural codes of Russia and Saudi Arabia, this year’s partner country of the forum.
Execution
Inspired by the extraordinary blend of ancient traditions and cutting-edge technologies of Saudi Arabia, we designed the event as an immersive performance built around one central idea — Foresight, a vision of the future. Every element — from scenography and visual design to artistic performances — became part of a single storyline that drew guests into an atmosphere of cultural dialogue and forward-thinking creativity.
I completely reimagined the event’s visual and sound design, using neural networks to generate content projected onto panoramic screens. The dinner space transformed into a mirrored, minimalist city of the future, evoking Saudi Arabia’s mega-project NEOM, where technology is seamlessly woven into everyday life.
The story began from the very first steps of the guests, who were greeted by a virtual AI assistant, creating the sensation of entering the city of tomorrow and gently introducing them to the evening’s concept. Each artistic performance expanded this narrative, revealing new facets of our dialogue with the future.
The opening act — a dance and vocal performance set to the jazz classic “Caravan” — began with pre-recorded footage of a dancer shot against a green screen, later integrated through chroma key effects. Guests witnessed the performer’s image dissolve from the central screen into a multitude of virtual avatars surrounding them, symbolizing the multiculturalism and boundlessness of the digital future.
The emotional centerpiece of the evening was a choir of twenty vocalists performing songs by Anna German against the ambient soundscape of the desert. At that moment, the screens transformed into interactive portals displaying the intricate patterns of traditional Arabic mashrabiya screens, through which guests gazed at shifting, mesmerizing desert landscapes. This moment symbolically united the heartfelt warmth and familiarity of Russian culture with the mystery and depth of Saudi heritage.
The culminating act — a three-part musical medley — embodied the peak of conceptual integration. To an instrumental rendition of “Polovtsian Dances”, guests saw sweeping panoramas of green golf courses and soaring birds, symbols of Russia’s natural harmony. The performance then transitioned into the Arabic composition “Fisalam al-Kayala”, accompanied by imagery of sand dunes and endless desert horizons. Finally, as Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep” filled the air, the screens immersed the audience in a sea of clouds — a metaphor for the future — before revealing the INNOPROM Golf Challenge logo.
This medley was performed by a unique ensemble that combined Russian and Arabic instruments — balalaika, contrabass balalaika, oud, darbuka, and accordion — creating a sound that perfectly embodied the idea of cultural and technological synthesis.
Result: INNOPROM Golf Challenge 2025 became far more than a golf tournament and gala dinner — it was a true immersive spectacle where every guest experienced the meeting of traditions and innovation, past and future. The event offered participants a profound emotional and intellectual journey, revealing new possibilities for cultural collaboration in a completely fresh light.
